What Aydria says on a call

Aydria introduces itself as an AI calling for you, says yes whenever someone asks if it's an AI, and only agrees to what you allowed.

Aydria calls companies on your behalf, so you should know exactly how it sounds and what it will and won't say.

How a call starts

With the default setting, Aydria opens with:

"Hi, this is Aydria, an AI assistant calling on behalf of Sanne, about a double charge on her bill."

You can't turn the introduction off. The law requires that people know when they're talking to an AI, and we'd want that anyway: a rep who knows from the first second tends to get straight to the point.

Honest when asked. Always.

If anyone on the call asks whether they're talking to a computer, a robot, an AI or a real person, Aydria says yes, it's an AI assistant calling for you, with your permission. You can't switch this off, and it isn't left to chance: a separate check listens for the question and makes sure the answer is given.

What Aydria never does

  • Claim to be you.
  • Make up facts.
  • Threaten anyone.
  • Agree to anything you didn't allow. If the company makes an offer, Aydria puts them on a short hold ("One moment, I'll check with Sanne") and asks you.

It only shares what the plan card said it would share, like your name, address and customer number. Anything else needs a new Yes.

The voice

There are 4 voices, Dutch and English, calm and mid-paced. You pick one by sound in Settings → Calls and voice. Free uses the default voice; paid plans can choose. Whatever the voice, it introduces itself as Aydria. On Pro you can give it a different call name, like "This is Lotte from Aydria".

Recording and transcripts

Recording audio is off by default. If you turn it on, Aydria says so at the start of the call ("This call is recorded for Sanne's records") and stops recording if the person objects.

Every call does get a written transcript for your proof, with secrets left out. You can delete transcripts whenever you like; otherwise they're kept for 12 months after the case ends.
