Your PIN

The four-digit PIN that protects phone access to your Aydria. When it is asked, how it is stored, and what happens after three wrong tries.

When you call your Aydria, caller ID is enough for simple things. For anything that could cost you, you say a four-digit PIN. It is yours: you set it in Settings, and it is only for the phone.

When Aydria asks

Aydria asks for the PIN when a request involves money, a cancellation, a secret or personal data, and for questions only your memory can answer. It checks twice: once on what you said, and again at the moment you say Yes to the task, so a sensitive task cannot slip through because it was worded mildly.

Choosing one

A PIN is exactly four digits. Aydria refuses the obvious ones: one digit four times, a straight run up or down, and a short list of well-known PINs.

How it is stored

Only a scrambled version is stored (a salted hash), never the PIN itself. Nobody at Aydria can read it back to you. If you forget it, set a new one in Settings.

Three wrong tries

Three wrong PINs in a row pause phone access for one hour. You get a notice in your conversation, so you know if it was not you. While it is paused even the right PIN does not work on the phone. WhatsApp and the app keep working as normal. After the hour you start with a fresh count.

If you did not cause a lock, change your PIN in Settings.

If you do not want to say it

Say "skip", or just do not answer. Aydria leaves the task waiting for your Yes in the app. Two non-answers in a row count as no PIN for that call. They are not wrong tries.

What is stored from the call

What you say while Aydria asks for the PIN goes to the check and nowhere else. Any four-digit number in the rest of the call is removed before the transcript is saved.
