Pass-through rules

Decide who your front desk puts through to your real phone and who leaves a message, with quiet hours and a blocked list.

Pass-through rules are in Settings → Front desk. They decide what Aydria does with a caller who is not just a delivery or a sales call.

The five rules

  • Always ring through. A list of numbers, for example your mum. Aydria forwards them live to your phone and whispers who it is first, like "Call from Mum via Aydria". They still ring through in quiet hours unless you turn that off.
  • Urgent. The callers Aydria may connect live if they say it is urgent: school, doctor and employer by default. If a caller from one of these categories says it is urgent, Aydria connects them. Everyone else leaves a message.
  • Quiet hours. No live connections at all, only messages. The always-ring list is the one exception, if you leave it included.
  • When I am unreachable. If you do not answer within 20 seconds, Aydria takes a message.
  • Blocked list. See it, unblock a number, or block one by hand. See Blocked calls.

Where a live call goes

A live call only ever goes to the phone number on your account, never to a number a caller gives.

Good to know

  • Aydria decides from the rules and the words the caller says. A caller who says "urgent" counts. It does not judge how urgent it really is.
  • A live connection is not charged as a handled call. If you take the call yourself, it costs nothing.
  • Callers Aydria cannot match, or who are outside your rules, leave a message. You get the one-line summary.
