Your front-desk number
Your own Aydria number and email address: what to give to companies, who gets which, and what happens when Aydria answers.
Your front desk is a number and an email address you give to companies instead of your own. Aydria picks up, handles what it can inside your rules, and only bothers you when it matters.
What you get
- Email, on every plan. You have an address like
name-7k3q@in.aydria.com. It is the same address you can forward bills to. - A Dutch phone number, on Plus, Family (one for each member) and Pro. Depending on availability, Aydria may instead give you one shared Aydria number plus a four-digit code of your own that callers say or type.
Both are in Settings → Front desk, with a copy button and a QR code.
What Aydria does when it picks up
Every call it answers starts with "I'm an AI assistant". That part cannot be switched off. Then it works out who is calling and why:
- Appointments. It confirms a time that is already in your calendar. It books or moves one only inside your rules (for example mornings only) and when you are free. Otherwise it takes the proposal and asks you. If a caller cancels, Aydria notes it and asks you. It never cancels itself.
- Deliveries. It accepts a delivery time inside your delivery times and gives your safe-place instructions.
- A callback about an open case. It connects the call to that case and listens.
- Sales calls and robocalls. It declines or hangs up. See Blocked calls.
- Personal calls. It follows your pass-through rules.
- Anything else. It takes a message and promises that you will reply.
What it never does
It does not pay, accept a contract, confirm your identity data or share a secret, whatever the caller asks. It says so politely and passes the request on.
What you get back
One line within 30 seconds of the call, for example "Dentist confirmed Tue 14:30. In your calendar." The full summary and the transcript sit in your conversation. Email to the front-desk address is sorted the same way: bills and deadlines are filed, price rises become a notice, appointments land in your calendar feed, and personal mail is forwarded to your own email as it is.
What it costs
A call Aydria handled costs 20 credits. Blocked sales and spam calls, calls you took live, callers who hung up and refused requests cost nothing. Above 40 handled calls in a day Aydria still answers, but only takes a message, free. Email at your front-desk address costs nothing.
If you cancel
Your number rests for 30 days after you cancel. After that it can go to someone else. During those 30 days, nobody has it.
